Why 3024 × 4032?

3024 × 4032 is a high-resolution 3:4 portrait format — 3024 pixels wide and 4032 pixels tall. It is the photo size captured by Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, and it is also a common vertical format for sharing to phones and social feeds. If you need a photo at exactly this size — for example to match Meta glasses photos or to prepare a tall vertical image — this page does it in one step.

How the resizing works

  • Center crop first: if your photo is not already 3:4, the tool crops it from the center to a 3:4 portrait ratio. The image is never stretched or squashed, so subjects keep their natural proportions.
  • Then scale: the cropped area is scaled — up or down — to exactly 3024 × 4032 pixels with high-quality smoothing.
  • JPEG output: the result is exported as a JPEG at high quality (≈ 0.95). Transparent PNG backgrounds become white.

Cropping behavior, in plain terms

A landscape (wide) photo loses a slice on the left and right. A very tall photo loses a slice at the top and bottom. A square photo loses a small amount at the top and bottom. Because the crop is centered, the middle of your photo is always preserved — for precise framing of off-center subjects, crop the photo in your favorite editor first, then resize it here.
